Everything In Venus Williams 2022 Met Gala Skincare And Makeup Look Was Under $20

If you tuned into the Met Gala, there’s no doubt you saw Venus Williams bringing the same show-stopping energy she brings to the tennis court to the fashion charity event’s red carpet. Instead of opting for a big, poofy gown like many stars do, Venus donned a classic three-piece black pantsuit on the red carpet.

She complemented the look with near knee-length braids, and glowy skin c/o her makeup artist, Karina Milan, who achieved the skincare and makeup look using a bunch of affordable Burt’s Bee’s products you can shop right now on Amazon and the Burt’s Bees site. They’re all super budget friendly under $20, and some of them are even on sale right now on top of that. In fact, many of the clean, natural products are even under $10.

To prep her skin and remove any redness, Milan started by using Burt’s Bees Sensitive Solutions Calming Serum ($13, Amazon) because the aloe-infused formula is meant to soothe all irritation. To further hydrate Venus’ skin, Milan used the Renewal Firming Eye Cream ($13, Amazon), Calming Day Lotion ($10, Amazon), and the green tea extract-blended Luminizer Nourishing Highlighter ($9, Amazon) to add warmth and glow to Venus’ face.

And, the hydration benefits don’t stop there. To hydrate Venus’ lips, Milan topped of the skincare look with the brand’s Full Spectrum CBD Lip Treatment ($14, Burt’s Bees). It’s a great way to prime the lips for color because it’s made with natural emollients, waxes, and oils meant to smooth out any fine lines (which, as you can see, it obviously did).

Then, it was on to the makeup. Milan was aiming for a natural, clean look with a strong lip. So, she started with a base of the Burt’s Bees’ liquid foundation ($9, Ulta), then went in for some dewiness in the cheeks by layering the All Aglow Lip & Cheek Stick ($13, Burt’s Bees) in dahlia dew with the Color Nurture Cream Blush ($10, Burt’s Bees) in strawberry cream on top.

For the eye look, Milan simply lined Venus’ lids with Burt’s Bees Nourishing Eyeliner ($10, Burt’s Bees) in soft black before softly going in with the Eye Shadow Trio in Dusky Woods ($13, Burt’s Bees). She topped off the entire look with some lashes and mascara—and, voilà—there you have Venus’ red carpet Met Gala look.

Yup, that’s all you need to toy around at home and create your own natural, glowy Met Gala-worthy look. Summer is just around the corner, so you’ll have a bunch of brunches, weddings, and rooftops dates to show off your skills.
