Amanda Gorman Makes History as First Ever Poet to Speak at Super Bowl – Watch Now!

Amanda Gorman is making her Super Bowl debut.

In a pre-recorded video, the 22-year-old poet presented a new poem during the 2021 Super Bowl pre-game show on Sunday (February 7).

Ahead of the coin toss, Amanda took a moment to honor the captains playing in the Super Bowl.

“Today we honor our three captains, For their actions and impact in, A time of uncertainty and need,” Amanda said. “They’ve taken the lead, Exceeding all expectations and limitations, Uplifting their communities and neighbors, As leaders, healers, and educators.”

Amanda went viral after reciting her amazing work, “The Hill We Climb,” at the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris last month.

A few days later, Amanda said that she is very serious about running for president when she gets older!
