Billie Shepherd has come under fire after her shop has being accused of "copying" a cardigan from another designer.

The 31 year old took to Instagram on Monday to show off the knitwear, which is stocked in the store she runs with her sister Sam Faiers, Minnie's Boutique.

Posting an image of herself in the garment to her 2.3million Instagram followers, Billie called it "the most beautiful cardigan."

The multi-coloured number features a pink trim and floral buttons made up from small pearls.

However, designer Olivia Rubin has hit out at the reality star, who is currently participating in Dancing On Ice, claiming she has copied her design.

Olivia reposted Billie's image to her own 157,000 Instagram followers, writing: "I don't normally repost copies but I'm seeing it moe and more.

"Celebrities and other brands buying our clothes only to rip them off! This is just another level! Have some originality!"

However, the garment supplied by Sam and Billie's boutique has met the legally required number of differences for it not to be classed as plagiarism.

The factory supplier who produces the cardigan confirmed to MailOnline that there are six to seven notable differences from other products which could be classed as similar.

Billie made her debut on Dancing On Ice at the weekend, with husband Greg Shepherd gushing over how proud he is of his wife.

Greg shared a sweet video of the Mummy Diaries star on the ice as he wished her luck ahead of her first skate on the show last Sunday.

Billie was seen taking to the ice in the early stages of her training as she struggled and took a tumble as she practiced with professional partner Mark Hanretty.

However, the clip also shows Billie's improvement in her skating ability and saw the mum-of-two impressively skate around backwards while holding her posture well.
