Brad Pitt: Penning a Tell-All About His Split From Angelina Jolie?

It’s been almost three years since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ended their marriage.

During that time, the actors have been the subject of more rumors than just about any divorced couple in recent memory.

Of course, Brad and Angie have mostly kept mum on the matter.

For the most part, that’s a smart strategy, but the downside is that it allows the tabloid media to control the narrative.

Brad has been portrayed as the villain in most of the fan-fiction scenarios that have emerged in recent years.

After all, it was Pitt’s confrontation with son Maddox that prompted the split.

Pitt says he’s gotten sober and made some major changes as a result of his painful divorce.

And now, it seems he may be ready to share the lessons he’s learned in a revealing memoir.

“Brad is still sober and has been working on this book for quite some time,” a source close to the actor tells Radar Online.

“He is just waiting for all of this drama with Angelina and the kids to be over and done with.”

It seems that Pitt’s main goal in telling his story is to set the record straight about his marriage and divorce:

“At this point, Brad really wants to get the truth out there about everything,” says the insider.

“Brad has great relationships with all of his children, and he really wants everyone to know this,”

Obviously, a bestseller from one of the world’s most famous actors would be a global bestseller.

So we’re guessing Angie is less than thrilled about the idea of her ex telling his side of the story to millions of sympathetic readers.

Fortunately for her, it sounds as though the book is a long way off.

Pitt has decided to take the entire summer off of acting so that he can spend time with his kids while they’re off from school.

And while he may be able to jot down some preliminary outlines, it seems work on the memoir won’t begin in earnest until this fall.

In August, he’ll be promoting Once Upon a Time In Hollywood along with Leonardo DiCaprio and Quentin Tarantino, who surprisingly don’t have a single divorce between them.

Of course, Tarantino very recently got married and Leo is famously commitment-phobic.

We’re guessing these two will have a lot of advice for Brad as the trio makes the media rounds together this summer.

Hopefully, some of it will involve the notion of Pitt getting back together with Jennifer Aniston.
