Britney Refuses to Perform Until Dad Is Fired as Conservator and Blasts Sister Jamie Lynn

Britney Spears continues to criticize her family, vowing to never return to the stage until her father is removed as her conservator and slamming younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears.

AceShowbizBritney Spears has vowed not to perform on stage until her father Jamie Spears is no longer controlling her life and her conservatorship is ended.

The “Piece of Me” hitmaker – who has been campaigning to have her father removed as co-conservator of her estate and to end the 13-year conservatorship completely – declared her intention to refrain from staging any new shows as she fired back at critics of her dancing antics online.

“For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos … Look I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think (sic)!!!!” she wrote in an Instagram post Saturday (17Jul21).

“I’ve done that for the past 13 years … I’d much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in (Las) Vegas… And no I’m not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years and begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans … so I quit (sic)!!!!”

She went on to put her younger sister, singer/actress Jamie Lynn Spears, on blast, appearing to take issue with her tribute set at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards, where Britney was honoured with the Icon Award.

“I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!!” Britney fumed. “My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!!”

The pop superstar also slammed pro-Britney documentaries like 2020’s “Framing Britney Spears“, which examined her conservatorship ordeal and rehashed “humiliating” moments from years ago, adding, “I’m way past all that and have been for a long time.”

On 14 July, Britney was given permission to hire Mathew Rosengart as her personal lawyer. During the hearing, she told the judge she wanted to pursue charges against her dad for “conservatorship abuse.”

Although she didn’t refer to the key victory of retaining her own attorney, she added that she is now more hopeful for her future. “This conservatorship killed my dreams … so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill … yet people still try (sic)!!!!” she raged.

“And for women who say it’s weird the way I still have hope for fairy tales … go f**k yourself (sic)!!!!!”

The singer’s post was accompanied by a meme which read, “Take me as I am or kiss my a** eat s**t and step on Legos. (sic)”

Paris Hilton was among the celebrities posting supportive comments under her weekend post, writing, “Yes live your life beautiful! You deserve your happiness (sic)!”

And “Jersey Shore” reality star Snooki commented, “Speak your truth queen!!! You can come perform in my living room any day (sic)!!!”

Since initially condemning her conservatorship as “abusive” during a hearing last month, finance officials at the Bessemer Trust, who served as Britney’s estate co-conservators, her longtime manager Larry Rudolph, and court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham III all resigned from their positions.
