Catherine Zeta Jones causes a stir as she shares bikini-clad clip ‘Crazy days of summer’
Welsh actress Catherine Zeta Jones, 50, who is married to Hollywood legend Michael Douglas, 75, has reflected back on her days in British comedy The Darling Buds of May. The Welsh-born beauty shared a throwback video of one of her bikini-clad scenes and said it was the “innocent, simple life”.

Taking to Instagram, the Chicago star shared one of her scenes from The Darling Buds of May where she ran into the sea in a red two-piece.
Alongside the unearthed video, Catherine reflected back to a more “simple” time in her life as she wrote to her fans: “Oh those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.
“‘The Darling Buds of May’ an innocent, simple life.”
Catherine played the character of Mariette, the eldest daughter of Ma and Pop Larkin in the comedy series that was first aired in 1991.

Not long after the Ocean’s Twelve star shared her post, fans of Catherine rushed to comment on how “gorgeous” she looked.
After watching Mariette run into the sea, one wrote to the mother-of-two: “OMG so gorgeous. I feel like doing that now!”(sic)
Another then thanked the star for sharing her video as they added: “Love Darling buds of May – such a great show.
“This little clip has brought back fond memories of my family holidays in Cornwall & Devon – thanks for sharing!”
Another follower then wrote: “This is the best episode!”
While the Hollywood star is self-isolating at home with Michael and their children Carys and Dylan, Catherine spoke out about how the coronavirus lockdown has all been a bit much for her.
Taking to her Instagram on Tuesday, Catherine shared a drawing of a crying woman with a speech bubble at the top which said: “Overwhelmed is the calmest I get.”
Alongside the picture, she wrote to her 3.4 million followers: “Just one of those days”.

This comes after Catherine celebrated Carys’ 17th birthday on Monday where she spoke about years of “joy” they have had.
The Side Effects star told her in a heartfelt post: “CARYS!! is 17 today. What joy these years have brought me.
“You never cease to amaze me and my love for you is endless.”
Soon after Catherine shared a tribute to her daughter, Carys then thanked her mum for giving her the “gift of life”.

Carys responded to her post by writing: “Thank you for giving me the gift of life and being the best role model and inspiration.”
Hollywood stars Catherine and Michael were introduced by friend and Matilda star Danny DeVito, 75, and were then married in 2000.
Catherine has previously spoken about how they keep their “easy-going” marriage strong, as she told The Telegraph in 2014: “Respect, space and a sense of humour. We spend a hell of a lot of time together, so we are careful to maintain our space.
“Given the age difference, what’s remarkable is that we are so similar in so many ways. We have a laid-back, easy-going relationship.”
