Craig David rolls back the decades to delight fans as he ‘smashes New Year’

When Craig David started his set on BBC with half an hour of 2019 left, there were many viewers questioning whether they were in the right decade.

Fast forward to half an hour into 2020 and Craig David was being hailed as the voice of the nation and viewers were clamouring for him to be knighted in the next round of honours.

It has been 20 years since Craig detailed how his seven days of the week panned out but it seems that he still has the ability to hold an audience in the palm of his hand.

A run through his back catalogue with his band before Big Ben's bongs were followed by a DJ set in which Craig freestyled his way over some of the biggest dance tunes of the past few years as well as regaling us with more of his tunes from the past.
