David Beckham divides fans as he lets his dog eat out of his mouth

David Beckham has divided opinion by proudly feeding two of his pet dogs using his mouth.

In a clip shared to his Instagram Stories over the weekend, the former professional footballer showed off just how well-behaved his and wife Victoria's pooches were as he held a treat in his mouth.

The video saw his dog Sage leaned forward and effortlessly take it from his mouth, and his other adorable dog Fig followed suit after a little bit more encouragement from the father of four.

After his dogs completed the tasks, 46 year old David couldn't resist beaming as he hugged them closely.

While David unassumingly fed his dogs with his mouth, his social media followers couldn't help but feel a little put off by it.

"David Beckham feeding his dogs from his mouth is too much," one fan tweeted.

Another wrote: "I can only imagine where they have been licking!!

A fourth added: "David Beckham didn't need to post that video. It's disgusting when you think about it."

However, other dog lovers leapt to David's defence, with one person writing: "People need to chill. This is such a cute video, how can you not see that?!"

A second wrote: "Love that David loves his dogs so much. It goes to show how much of a caring person he really is."

This comes after David took to Instagram to share his bold new peroxide blonde transformation alongside sons Cruz, 16 and Romeo, 18.

The snap showed Cruz had dyed his hair pink while David's middle son, Romeo, followed in dad's footsteps going for a blonde crop too.

He captioned the photos: "Sometimes the boys need reminding who did it first in the 90's by the look on their faces they are not to pleased about it #DadDidItFirst @joshwoodcolour @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham."
