Drake’s $100m mansion in Toronto where he’s self-isolating

You’d probably expect Drake to have quite a fancy house with his endless run of success and an estimated net worth of $150 million (£120 million), but it blows anything you’ve imagined out of the water.

Simply put, it’s a mega mansion with an NBA-size basketball court and more bedrooms than you could count so perfect for rap’s biggest superstar.

Drake’s currently waiting for quarantine to be over so that he can reunite with his son Adonis, whose photos he’s just released for the first time.

The 33-year-old purchased the property in his hometown of Toronto, Canada in 2019 and it’s valued at $100 million (£80 million) due to extensive renovations courtesy of designer Ferris Rafauli.

According to CTV News, the 50,000-square foot property is surrounded by tall trees for security measures.

But, get this – Drake reportedly spent $1 million (£800,000) on the 20-foot trees alone so that the fencing ‘fits in with the neighbourhood’ which, needless to say, is pretty desirable.

In December, Drake invited Rap Radar into his abode for an extensive interview and stated: ‘We’re at my house, which feels good to say. It’s been two years in the making and I moved in two weeks ago, so I’m still getting settled. Getting adjusted but it’s great…

‘I live here pretty much by myself. It’s just bringing me a lot of balance, a lot of peace. A lot of time to reflect.’

He added of his new routine: ‘I wake up in the morning, I’ve started drinking espressos, have a nice balanced meal, put on some great music.’

Drizzy then revealed that one of the downstairs toilets plays Tupac music.

Oh, how the other half live.

Casa Drizzy is simply one of the most lavish properties a rapper could possibly want.

Guests driving up to the sprawling mansion will be greeted by neon purple lighting up the exterior at night, almost like a castle out of Disney.

Once the gates have opened, guests are greeted by the type of grand entrance hall you’d expect to see at a museum or, you know, the Ritz.

The large kitchen has enough room for Drake’s chefs to whip up a michelin-star meal and features a large island and marble countertops.

Basketball, dinner, @euphoria on a Sunday

Over in the luxury living area, the In My Feelings rapper can kickback after a long tour in a set of luxurious velvet sofas and a huge marbled fireplace.

Yep, there is marble everywhere.

Most of the rooms and halls are dimly-lit with double-height ceilings and are dripping in gold fixtures.

Elsewhere, there’s an elevator, a 10-car garage, four guest bedrooms, a piano room for all those dinner parties with impromptu singalongs, a movie room, a gym and a space solely for those 181 awards he’s won over the past decade.

But perhaps the most jaw-dropping feature of Casa Drizzy is the indoor basketball court which is NBA-regulated.

It means the rapper could pretty much host an actual NBA game between the LA Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers if he wanted.

DJ Khaled once drove over to have a game with Drake and his pals.

The best we could do is wine and cheese night with half our friends sitting on the floor.

Basically, Drake probably isn’t running out of things to do in self-isolation and he’s certainly got enough space – two acres, to be exact – for a few fans to join him.
