Firebox creates wine flavoured gin that is the perfect gift for Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day just a few weeks away, now’s the perfect time to start planning what to treat her to, rather than opting for a last minute gift of some semi-wilted flowers.

Firebox have launched new red, white and rosé wine gin, priced at £19.99 each.

Most people will claim that mixing wine and gin can be pretty dangerous – and cause a severe hangover – but those clever clogs at Firebox have made it possible to have both at the same time.

If you (or your mum) has ever been in that situation where you can’t decide between a crisp refreshing rosé post work or a gin, squeeze of fresh lime and tonic – now you don’t have to.

Each of the unconventional blends has a refreshing low alcohol content (20%) for an easy-drinking experience that focuses on a flavour that lasts. You can enjoy them on their own or with a mixer for an G& with a twist.

Relax and enjoy the fresh, crisp flavours of juniper and grape in White Wine Gin, ideal with a slice of cucumber.

Or sip and savour the soft fruity flavours of cherry and strawberry in Rosé Wine Gin, perfect with a lemon garnish.

For those who favour the darker grape, opt for the Red Wine Gin, a bold concoction of blueberry and red plum flavours with a smooth red wine finish which pairs perfectly with an orange slice. It’s the post-dinner drink or enjoy with friends over a catchup and face mask.

Speaking about the new tipples, Kristian Bromley, Managing Director, Firebox.com said: “Fresh from the runaway success of our Unicorn Tears Gin, the drink responsible for last year’s shimmer gin frenzy, we are excited to introduce gin fans to a brand new drink concept.

“Our customers tell us they often agonise over the choice between white wine or a G+T, so we are excited to help solve this conundrum. Cheers to never having to pick between your favourite tipples again.”
