Future, Drake Get Medieval In New Wait For U Video

Future and Drake get medieval in a new video for “Wait for U,” the second single from Future’s ninth studio album, I Never Liked You.

Future released the Director X-directed visual, which also features Nigerian star Tems, last Thursday (May 5). It opens with the narrator saying, “Once upon a time there was a toxic king who was going to war and leaving his queen behind.”

Future, clad in full-body silver armor and head chains, is then seen bidding farewell to his queen as he heads into battle. Future’s second in command, who has an eye for the queen, alerts her of the king’s infidelity, which results in her sending him a breakup message.

Drake then enters the scene as Future’s messenger and meets the queen to deliver a note from the king that reads, “I am goodeth, beloved. Enjoyeth.”
