A diner was left stunned when he ordered the £23 steak and chips at Gordon Ramsay’s London restaurant.

The customer who ordered the meal at the York and Albany restaurant in London was not happy with the small portion size for the price of £23.

The less-than-impressed diner left a review on the restaurant on TripAdvisor, giving it a one-star rating for its food and two-star rating for its staff.

The celebrity chef, 53, took to his Twitter feed to share a short clip of the fry up, which sees a knife cut into an egg yolk, allowing it the run down the plate.

The British breakfast favourite includes two eggs, one sausage, a few strips of bacon, one tomato and one mushroom.

He captioned it: "The most amazing Full English…. can’t wait for you to try it from 21st September at Savoy Grill !" [sic]

The high-end restaurant is charging a whopping £19 for the fry up, despite not even including hash browns or beans. Sides can be ordered for an additional £5 each.

Fans have flocked to the comments section to mock the star and his dish as they couldn't fathom both the prices and the lack of English staples.
