Holly Willoughby shares sons adorable nickname as she sends sweet birthday message

Holly Willoughby shared a sweet 14th birthday message to her eldest child, son Harry, on ITV's This Morning as she shared his adorable nickname.

The proud mum of three started the show on Thursday with co-presenter Phillip Schofield, 60, by her side as she gave a special shoutout to Harry, and confessed she felt "emotional" at his age.

Looking fabulous in a pink top and skirt combo, Holly, 42, flung her arms wide and said: "Can I just say 'Happy Birthday' to my son – he's fourteen today."

Phillip then chimed in and said: "Happy Birthday, Harry," as Holly half-sang: "Harry bear," revealing her son's nickname.

She continued: "I actually can't believe it," before going on to share that her son is going through the teenage sleep years.

"I woke him up this morning at 6am before I came here," Holly told Phillip and the This Morning viewers at home.

"I went and got him up and I put the dog [their Golden Retriever, Bailey] up on the bed, because that always makes him slightly…" before Phil asked: "Is that a treat?"

Holly then explained: "Well, it just makes him wake up a bit happier," she laughed, then continued: "Because you can't get cross with Bailey."

"He opened his presents and I actually felt myself getting a little bit emotional watching him do it, because, fourteen, that sounds old, doesn't it?"

Phil – who has worked on This Morning with Holly since 2009, the same year as Harry was born – said: "I can't believe that."

Holly also shares daughter Belle, 12, and son Chester, eight, with her TV producer husband, Dan Baldwin.

The TV star posted a sweet tribute to her son, Harry, on Instagram too, as she shared a black and white closeup snap of his head close to Bailey's.

She captioned the post: "Happy birthday Harry… beautiful boy… we love you so very much… 14!" adding a red love heart emoji.

Holly's celebrity pals were quick to wish Harry a happy birthday as they commented on Holly's post.

Abbey Clancy, who is married to footballer Peter Crouch, commented: "Happy birthday to you beautiful harry love you lots."

Kate Thornton wrote: "Happy birthday Harry!," whilst Holly's bestie, Nicole Appleton added: "Ahh happy birthday lovely Harry!," with a number of emojis.

Holly and Phillip put on their usual display of solidarity on This Morning on Thursday, despite reports emerging that once-close off-screen relationship "has cooled".

A source told The Sun: "Holly adores This Morning and for the first time in 14 years she has made it clear that should Phil ever leave she would want to stay. They are separate entities.

"To those around them on set, it has become clear recently that Holly and Phil are not as close as they once were.

"Professionally you would have no idea there was anything going on because on camera they are acting exactly the same. But behind the scenes, their relationship has cooled."

OK! has contacted ITV for comment.
