How Kate and William Are Reportedly Entertaining Their Kids During Quarantine

Like so many kids across the U.S. and the U.K, the young royals—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—are also spending 24/7 at home with their parents as they self-isolate amid the coronavirus pandemic. Granted, their parents are Prince William and Kate Middleton, but still.

We just got an update on how the Cambridge family is reportedly spending all that together time. “Kate bakes and decorates cakes with the kids [on] the weekend to keep them entertained. The kitchen is always a complete mess by the end of it, but it’s all part of the fun — that’s how Kate sees it,” a source told Us Weekly. “They also enjoy gardening together and planting seeds.”

Hopefully George and Charlotte will help their mom make a cake for their little brother, who turns two on April 23 and had to have his birthday party canceled. “Unfortunately Kate’s had to call off Louis’ big birthday party because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the celebrations haven’t been completely canceled,” a source also told Us Weekly. “They’ll just do something smaller with immediately family only.”

Truly it sounds like all is well with the royals, who are thought to be spending time at their country home Anmer Hall. “Kate counts her blessings that the kids get on so well,” a source also told Us Weekly. “George has been helping Charlotte with her gymnastics, and they’ll spend hours practicing cartwheels, headstands and other moves together. Louis tries to join in too!”

Prince William is apparently helping out too. “Kate is mainly in charge of the home-schooling and playtimes, but William is also very involved too,” another source said. “He teaches them lessons and organizes games.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William also took time out to call teachers and children via video, checking in to see all they were all doing during this tough time. It was totally charming, and we only kindly request a surprise appearance from the kids next time.
