Josie Gibson all smiles in sweet Christmas snap with Alison Hammond and rarely seen kids
This Morning stars Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond celebrated Christmas together in their annual double family festive get together.
The pair who are firm friends as well as working together for the ITV daytime show, have celebrated 25 December together before and regularly meet up.
This year they got into the festive spirit with Josie cooking up a Christmas feast, and both stars bringing their families and children together to celebrate.
Josie shared a cheerful snap to her Instagram with pal Alison including rarely seen son Reggie and Alison's son Aiden. All four beamed for the camera for the Christmas selfie as they got into the festive spirit.
In the snap as the four posed, Josie could be seen sporting blue paint on her nose from son Reggie's art skills with his new Christmas art set.
She captioned the post: "Merry Crimbo and lots of love from Me @alisonhammond55 and our Babies!!! P.s. Reg painted my face with his new paint set #merrychristmas #merrycrimbo."
Alison shared a picture of her and her best pal to her Instagram stories, as she wrote: "Happy Holidays."
Fans of the TV duo were quick to comment and praise the pair's friendship. One fan commented: "Aww how lovely you send Xmas together."
Another added: "I love you two! Merry Christmas x".
"Pair of absolute legends," said a third.
"Love you girls get together with your boys!" commented a fourth.
Another shared: 'Love you both and Happy Christmas to you and your gorgeous boys!"
Alison also revealed Josie was the Christmas chef this year, as she commented: "You smashed it in the kitchen today babs , thanks for a wonderful day xx".
Earlier this month, Josie had confessed she was struggling to find a turkey on This Morning as co-star Craig Doyle teased: "She’s got no Turkey! She’s got half the country coming over and she’s got no turkey."
Josie replied begging: "Don’t tell Alison, don’t tell Alison. Alison’s coming!"
Whilst it remains to be seen whether the turkey made it to the festive table, the pair appeared to enjoy their annual Christmas celebrations.
Alison revealed it would be a full household earlier this week, when she said: "This year, I have quite a big household. My brother will be there, my son, Josie always comes with her little boy."
She added: "Then I've got my housemate Jason and his dog Bobby and that's it this year."
