Katie Price was fuming after being instructed to buy stationery for her children Princess and Junior, as they returned to private school.

Ahead of their return to school, the 42-year-old discussed the extra expense of the items her children – who she shares with ex Peter Andre – need.

During a day of pampering with 13-year-old Princess, Katie said the private school making parents buy stationery is a ‘liberty’ as they already pay high prices for their education.

Katie asked Princess: ‘We’re about to go and get her school stuff and Junior’s. So have you got a list of actually everything you need for school?’

Princess then scrolled through her phone to list the items she needed.

‘So, I need pens, black or blue – more than one, additional coloured pens – red and green, black fine line pen,’ she answered.

‘HP pencils, ruler, eraser, pencil sharpener, scissors, glue stick, protractor, pair of compasses, scientific calculator, highlighters, colouring pencils – a small selection, and that is all I need.’

Katie was unimpressed with the extensive list and asked whether Junior, 15, would need the same things.

‘Can I just say something?’ the former glamour model said. ‘You go to private school, pay all that money, why don’t they supply that? Why do we have to buy that additionally on top? Shouldn’t they supply that?

‘But private school you’d think they supply that. It is a bit of a liberty! But it is! Certain this and certain that. What if you want to be individual? I don’t want you and Junior to be clones. But I don’t!

She continued on her rant: ‘Why do you all have to look like clones? When you’re young, that’s when you start your individuality.’

The cost of binders and highlighter pens are the least of Katie’s worries considering doctors told her she has been left with ‘life-changing’ injuries after breaking both her feet.

It’s believed her recovery could take up to six-months or more.

The mum-of-five suffered the injury while attempting to jump off a wall during a day out at a theme park with her family and boyfriend Carl Woods.
