Kristin Cavallari Dishes On Fake Romance With Brody Jenner & A VERY Real Relationship With A Cameraman Du

Kristin Cavallari is serving up some piping hot tea from her days on The Hills.

The Uncommon James founder sat down for a catch-up with her former co-stars Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge, and dished all things about the MTV series.

One obvious topic of discussion was romance, and Cavallari had no problem opening up about her past with Brody Jenner:

“I talk to Brody here and there. I mean, not a lot, but yeah we’ve kept in touch for sure. We dated when I was 18 and then when I came on The Hills, we didn’t actually date.”

But here’s the real kicker. Their made-for-TV romance was actually just a cover for them to “be friends and hang out,” when in actuality the Laguna Beach alum was dating a cameraman, Miguel.

Obviously shocked, Montag stated:

“No! I didn’t even know this.”

Patridge reflected on the duo heating up “towards the very end” of the series, which the E! star confirmed:

“We dated for a few months and nobody knew. And I was dating Brody on the show and like, meanwhile, Miguel was like filming it.”

Heidi quipped:

“That’s so awkward.”

Eventually, the two were caught by paparazzi at a Canadian airport, which left Kristin understandably annoyed as they were caught “a week before we wrapped the show.”

In a later confessional, the momma of three concluded:

“I dated a cameraman, yeah. Sure did. Nobody knew because I’m a professional and we kept it under wraps. But, it was fun.”

Speaking of ancient history, the ladies also had a chance to reminisce about Lauren Conrad. Speaking about Kristin’s recent falling out with ex-BFF Kelly Henderson, Patridge reflected:

“Cameras and a little bit of fame, it brings people’s true colors out.”

Noting to Spencer Pratt‘s wife, she added:

“You kind of went through that with Lauren.”

Viewers of the reality series will recall the infamous drama between Heidi and Lauren. The 33-year-old recalled:

“She turned on me and she said, ‘Alright, we’re not friends. You’re off the show.’ She’s like, ‘I don’t like Spencer. If you keep dating him you’re off the show.’”

According to The Hills: New Beginnings star, she called Conrad’s bluff and declared at the time:

“Then, I’m off the show!”

Empathizing with Jay Cutler‘s wife, Montag stated:

“It’s hard when you lose your best friend. That is such a deep blow.”
