Kym Marsh Enters Quarantine After Son Tests Positive for Covid-19

The former Hear’Say member opens up about her symptoms, saying she had ‘bad cold’ and was ‘coughing all over the place’ after her son David contracted Covid-19.

AceShowbiz -Former Hear’Say star Kym Marsh is self-isolating, after her son David tested positive for Covid-19.

The U.K. singer-turned-TV personality had been due to host BBC show “Morning Live” on Wednesday (07Jul21) but had to pull out following David’s positive test.

Appearing on the programme via video link, Kym said, “Yeah, so I wasn’t well last week, I think you already mentioned that. I’d had a bad cold, and had two PCR tests both negative, but still was kind of coughing all over the place.”

“I travelled home as always on the weekend, to be with my family, with my kids, and then over the weekend my son has tested positive for Covid. So not great.”

Asked how David is doing, Kym replied, “He’s okay. He’s not doing too badly. So it’s come from his girlfriend, his girlfriend is also self-isolating. She’s been really, really poorly. David hasn’t so far been as poorly as she has but today he said he’s aching more today and he’s coughing more as well. But up to now, he’s doing okay, so fingers crossed he’ll be alright.”

Kym’s son’s illness comes after her father Dad was diagnosed with cancer in his pelvis, spine, ribs and left leg. He was told about the disease after delaying going to the doctors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

David is Kym Marsh’s son from her past relationship with Dave Cunliffe. The former couple also share a daughter.

She additionally has two children, a son and daughter, with husband Jamie Lomas.

Her youngest kid was born in March this year.
