Lindsay Lohan references Mean Girls as she unveils incredible post-baby body
Lindsay Lohan recreates October 3rd scene on ‘Mean Girls day’
Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan has made reference to the film as she proudly displayed her postpartum body on Instagram to her 13.7 million followers.
The 37-year-old star was fresh-faced and glowing as she posed wearing postpartum underwear, consisting of a pale blue crop-top and grey cycling shorts, just two weeks after welcoming her son, Luai on July 17.
Her caption on the image made reference to the 2004 movie, in which she played Cady Heron, a 16-year-old girl who transfers to a public high school after being homeschooled her whole life in Africa. It also showed that she is completely embracing motherhood.
“I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery,” she wrote.
“Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! My OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear.”

She playfully added: “Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom,” in a nod to Mean Girls.
The knowing wink refers to a classic quote uttered by Amy Poehler, who plays Regina George’s mother in the film.
In an iconic and much quoted scene, she says “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom,” while wearing a pink velour tracksuit, as she is desperate to fit in with her daughter’s teenage friends.
Fans were loving the reference and jumped into the comments to praise the star.
