Luke Perry’s Son Beats David Arquette in First Wrestling Match Since Actor’s Death

Speaking of Jack ‘Jungle Boy’ Perry after the tribute match at the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles, ‘Scream’ actor David praises the young wrestler for having ‘so much talent, so much heart.’

AceShowbizLuke Perry‘s son returned to wrestling for the first time since the death of his father on Wednesday, May 08, for a fight with David Arquette.

Jack ‘Jungle Boy’ Perry (Jack Perry) was forced to pull out of a fight following the death of his dad in March, and he hadn’t fought since when he stepped into the ring at the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles for Bar Wrestling’s “It’s Gonna Be May” event.

Scream” actor David, who has a side career as a professional wrestler, was his opponent for the comeback and the night didn’t end well for the actor, who lost to Perry.

The fight ended with Jungle Boy holding David down in a three-second pin, and the father-of-two had nothing but praise for Luke’s son after the fight.

“He’s just got so much talent, so much heart. He’s incredible. He’s super smart,” David told TMZ. “It’s hard to believe he’s so young and so talented but he started when he was just a little guy.”

Taking to the microphone after the bout, David told Jungle Boy, “I loved your father dearly. I love you,” before the pair embraced one another.

The fight didn’t end there, however, and as they exited the ring, Jungle Boy dived on top of the Hollywood star and left him in a heap on the floor.

Jungle Boy’s father, Luke, died five days after suffering a stroke on 27 February.
