Major ‘Teen Mom 2’ Advertisers Pull Out After David Eason Shoots Dog!

The fallout from Jenelle Evans‘ husband David Eason shooting and killing the family french bulldog, Nugget, continues.

As it should!

While the former Teen Mom 2 star is under investigation by animal control, major sponsors of the MTV show have since pulled advertisements over the horrifying news of the pup’s graphic death!

Greenies, a company which makes dental treats for dogs, wrote on Twitter on Friday about their decision:

“We have zero tolerance for animal cruelty. We can now confirm that, as a result of this incident, our GREENIES ads will no longer run during Teen Mom programming.”

Another sponsor, Persil ProClean, responded to one tweet about the controversy, sharing:

“Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are no longer advertising on Teen Mom 2. Again, thank you for your feedback.”

Chipotle also tweeted:

“We are no longer airing our ads during episodes of Teen Mom.”

Dove Chocolate also have zero tolerance for animal cruelty, writing:

“We in no way condone animal cruelty or the mistreatment of animals. We appreciate your feedback and wanted to share that we have stopped advertising on Teen Mom programming.”

As do TWIX:

“We in no way condone animal cruelty or the mistreatment of animals. We appreciate your feedback and wanted to share that we have stopped advertising on Teen Mom programming.”

In case you missed it, the 30-year-old appeared to confess to killing Jenelle’s dog after he nipped at their two-year-old daughter Ensley’s face. As seen in a video he posted to Instagram, the tot was invading Nugget’s personal space. And it appears the nip did not break skin.

Eason is now currently under investigation for beating and executing the dog, as it’s been reported he allegedly “sprung up, grabbed the dog by the throat and slammed it on the ground” after the incident with their daughter. After brutally beating the dog inside the house, he then threw him out the front door, grabbing a pistol and shotgun, and then walked back outside to shoot the defenseless animal.

This is on another level, and we’re glad sponsors are hitting the show where it hurts: their wallet.

While David is no longer on Teen Mom 2, actions like these need to be taken!

Jenelle, on the other hand, has made it clear their marital status may change, taking to her Instagram Story to confirm:

“YES MARRIAGE IS UP IN THE AIR AT THIS POINT.”

But she hasn’t left the house because she’s afraid of what her husband might do:

“I HAVE ONLY BEEN AWAY FROM HOME BECAUSE I’M HURT AND UPSET.  PLEASE PLEASE STOP.”

She also previously told Us Weekly:

“David and I are not on talking terms. I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends.”

We’d describe what Eason did as much more than “very cruel,” but that’s just us!

What do U think, Perezcious readers?? Are U behind sponsors pulling out from the show?
