Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino posts first pictures from jail

It’s a social situation for Mike Sorrentino.

The “Jersey Shore” cast member, who’s in the middle of his eight-month jail sentence, took to Instagram on Friday to document a visit from his wife Lauren, and his two “Jersey Shore” buddies, Vinny Guadagnino and Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio.

“Tough Times Don’t Last, Tough People Do,” the 36-year-old captioned the series of pictures.

Lauren also posted the same photos with a similar sentiment.

“THE COMEBACK is always GREATER than the setback,” she wrote.

Both posts, which appeared to be printed photos snapped for Instagram, were complete with the hashtag “#Freesitch.”

Although “The Situation’s” social media has remained active since his time in jail, these are the first images we’re seeing of him at the Otisville, New York, facility.

Not pictured in the happy pics was Fyre Festival fraud Billy McFarland, who is reportedly hanging out with “The Situation” as they serve their time in the same prison.

“They play Scrabble together,” DelVecchio recently said on the Jenny McCarthy show.

Since Sorrentino began his sentence in January, he’s been reportedly answering tons of fan mail and also keeping fans updated on his time behind bars, through Lauren and his MTV castmates.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed in April that Sorrentino is having the “time of his life” in prison and getting fit.

“He’s in the gym a lot, so he’s probably gonna come out ripped. He’s not gonna be BDS anymore — ‘Big Daddy Sitch’ — he’s gonna have his, probably, six-pack again … he’s doing good in there,” she told E! News.
