Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson pregnant with first baby: The best is yet to come

Bonnie Anderson has announced she's pregnant with her first child with Sam Morrison just weeks after the couple got engaged.

The Neighbours star, 27, who plays Bea Nilsson in the hit Australia soap opera, took to her Instagram feed to share the news with her 111,000 followers as she posted a series of photos with her fiancée by the beach.

The Aussie singer and actress looked gorgeous in a black patterned jumpsuit while Sam donned a white T-shirt with chinos as the pair wrapped their arms around one another.

Another photo showed the couple standing by the side of the road, next to a sign that read "Bump Ahead", while a fourth showed the pair embracing.

"BUMP AHEAD," they captioned the post with a stars emoji and a pregnant woman emoji, adding: "The best is yet to come and we couldn’t be more excited."

The official Neighbours Instagram page was first to offer their congratulations as they shared three yellow heart emojis in response.

Meanwhile her sister Zima, who plays Roxy Willis on Neighbours, wrote: "Congrats Bon Bon," with a red heart emoji.

Home and Away star Jodi Gordon said: "So excited for you guys!!! Xxxxx,' while fellow actor Nathan Born, who plays Curtis Perkins in Neighbours, added: "OMG! CONGRATULATIONS BONNIE @bonnieandersonmusic," with two red heart emojis.

News of the pregnancy comes just six weeks after the pair got engaged as Sam got down on one knee to pop the question to the soap star.

Sharing a sweet snap of the couple posing in the woods with massive smiles across their faces, Bonnie told her fans: "I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!" followed by two diamond ring emojis.

She continued: "My best friend asked me to marry him! I can’t wait for forever with you my love!" alongside a red heart emoji.

The actor then shared a snap with pals as well as a close up of her ring, which she captioned: "An unforgettable weekend away," with a red heart emoji and diamond ring emoji.

She continued: "I am just so overwhelmed by the love and influx of beautiful messages @samueljmorrison and I received… thank you all so so much..
