Perrie Edwards shares gorgeous unseen pregnancy snaps as she reflects on becoming a mum

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has reflected on her pregnancy after welcoming baby son, Axel, in August 2021.

The 28 year old star delighted fans as she shared some unseen photos and videos from her pregnancy as she looked back on the year when she became a mum.

One snap shows the gorgeous songstress showing off her baby bump in black lingerie as she takes a mirror selfie.

Perrie shows off her natural beauty as she goes make-up free in the picture and her blonde hair is loose and wavy.

Giving a further look into special moments from her pregnancy, the star shared a clip of when she saw her unborn baby while getting an ultrasound.

Another video sees Perrie enjoying a sandwich as she lies in bed after giving birth, with son Axel and boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain asleep either side of her bed.

A third video clip shows Perrie and footballer Alex popping a balloon to release blue confetti, signalling that they were going to welcome a boy.

A further picture sees a glowing Perrie cradling her baby boy as they stand in his nursery.

While the final gorgeous snap in the carousel shows the star holding up her giggling boy, who is dressed as an elf, as they stand in front of a Christmas tree.

Perrie captioned the post: “I cooked a whole human in 2021.”

Fans and celebrities gushed over the post, with Charlotte Crosby writing: “Beautiful mamma.”

Amanda Holden commented with a heart emoji, while Sarah Louise Richards also left love heart emojis.

A fan wrote: "Gorgeous always, wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year”, while another gushed: "I'm tearing up this is so cute."

It comes after Little Mix announced they would be taking a break as a band to focus on solo projects.

In a statement, the band said: "We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix.


"It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.

"We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much.

"We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more."

They added: "We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever. See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x."
