Piers Morgan has called for King Charles III to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles following their swipe at his brother William in their new Netflix trailer. The 57-year-old went as far as calling them “poisonous rats” in his latest tweet as he continues to slam the pair.

The 57-year-old responded to ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship, who shared the new trailer on Twitter.

In the clip, Prince Harry says of his family: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother, but they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”

Meghan went on to say: “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.”

Addressing their decision to leave the Royal Family in 2020, he added: “This was a fight worth fighting for.”

In response to the clip, Piers wrote: “King Charles needs to strip these two poisonous rats of all remaining titles & ties to the Royal Family… and needs to do it fast before they destroy the Monarchy.”

The couple, who married in 2018, still hold their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, but are no longer addressed as His/Her Royal Highness.

Chris went on remind Piers that Harry also has a book coming out next month.

The memoir, titled Spare, is said to be a “definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him” from his royal childhood and time in the military to the trauma of his mother’s death and newfound joy in becoming a husband and father.

Harry and Meghan currently live in America with their two children; Archie, three, and Lilibet, one.
