Despite being a household name across the globe, Post Malone has been able to keep his family life out of the public eye, only revealing that his fiance’s name is Jamie and that they welcomed a baby girl together last May.
However, in a new interview, the 28-year-old has given fans a much-anticipated look into his private life, revealing how fatherhood changed him almost overnight.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the rapper revealed that his biggest fear in life is “not being able to be there for my baby”, a deeply-rooted concern that encouraged him to take stock of his lifestyle and how he was caring for himself.
He continued: “That’s why I tried to slow down on drinking, to take better care of my body.”
The Sunflower singer explained that a doctor had previously told him his “liver sucks” but has been determined to fix it, minimising his alcohol intake and cutting out sodas too.

He joked that his daughter’s first words will be “my credit card number” as he feels being wealthy and famous are the best qualities he can offer as a father, adding that he’s more than fine with that as he’s willing to pay to be “the happiest I’ve ever been”.
Sharing some rare insights on his fiance, only known as Jamie, the Circles singer declared her to be the “number one mom in the f**king universe”.
The rapper admitted he has written “a lot” of songs about her but says he’s too “terribly shy” to play them for her one-on-one.
The rapper, whose real name is Austin Post, also candidly revealed how fame had changed his relationship with alcohol in the first place, saying that he used to “drink because I was sad” but now uses it as “liquid courage” for his performances to make himself more outgoing on stage.

Later in the interview, Post made a candid declaration after fans speculated that his recent weight loss has something to do with the rapper taking drugs.
Despite having addressed these rumours, declaring them false, multiple times, the rapper reiterated: “I’m not on drugs. People see me on stage and they might take my dance moves, people are like, ‘Hey, this is what meth looks like.’
“I’m not on meth. Respectfully, I don’t owe anybody an explanation for anything.”
