Prince Charles Is Performing Alongside Daniel Craig and Judi Dench for a Holiday Special

'Twas the night before Christmas and Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, decided to get by with a little help from their friends. People reports that Charles and Camilla will be performing Clement Clarke Moore's classic poem "The Night Before Christmas" during a special virtual appearance to commemorate the holiday. The magazine adds that Charles enlisted a slew of his famous pals to participate, including Tom Hardy, Dame Maggie Smith, Dame Judi Dench, Daniel Craig, and Ncuti Gatwa.

Charles shared a preview of the special reading on Instagram and let followers know that the whole performance would be up in time for Christmas Eve.

"Something special is coming this Christmas Eve…, " he captioned the clip.

After one of his patronages, the Actors' Benevolent Fund (ABF), approached him for help after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down live theater and movie theaters in the U.K., Charles came up with the idea for a video. The charity works to support actors and stage managers that have been affected by illness, injury, or old age as well as any that are experiencing financial hardship.

Charles and Camilla recorded their segment at Clarence House and People notes that some of their guests also visited the residence to record, following strict COVID-19 protocols. Others recorded remotely.
