Princess Beatrice shows off her chic sense of style in shift dress and satin jacket as she attends Burlington Arcade’s 200th anniversary dinner

She recently embarked on a romance with real estate millionaire Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

But Princess Beatrice of York opted for a solo outing as she attended Burlington Arcade’s 200th anniversary dinner in Mayfair, London, on Wednesday evening.

The member of the British royal family, 30, showcased her sartorial flair as she slipped into a trendy black shift dress, which grazed her toned thighs.

Adding a pop of colour to her look, the auburn-haired beauty turned heads with her satin orange maxi jacket.

The London native added height to her frame in a pair of black ankle-strap heels, and toted a designer mini handbag by Gucci. 

Beatrice swept her tresses away from her face with the help of a thick black headband, and complemented her naturally radiant complexion with minimal make-up.

Also in attendance was the likes of Sir Michael Caine and his partner Shakira, fashion designer Marissa Montgomery and Bill Wyman’s wife Suzanne.

Serving as one of the English capital’s most iconic shopping destinations, Burlington Arcade, which boasts over three million visitors each year, comprises of over 40 luxury boutiques. 

Meanwhile, Beatrice, who works for business management consultancy Afiniti and splits her time between London, Windsor and New York.

She and sister Eugenie, 28, recently touched on everything from life in the spotlight to fashion and social media in a Vogue interview.

At one point, they discussed living in the public eye as they say they constantly face ‘mockery’ and criticism.

Of doing media interviews, Beatrice said: ‘It’s hard to navigate situations like these because there is no precedent, there is no protocol.

‘We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we’re also princesses, and doing all of this in the public eye.’
