Stormzy ‘spares no expense’ as he rents out Thorpe Park for epic 28th birthday bash complete with McDonald’s food truck and bottomless booze

Stormzy pulled out all the stops for his 28th birthday as he rented out Thorpe Park to throw an epic bash. 

The musician spared no expense as he hired the Surrey amusement attraction, along with a McDonald’s food truck and bottomless booze for his famous friends.

Joined by musical pals Dave, Wretch 32, AJ Tracey and Aitch for the bash, the Vossi Bop hitmaker – whose real name is Michael Owuo – ‘spared no expense’ with his fun night out.

The Surrey amusement park usually operates on a £39 entrance fee in advance, however the Croydon-born rapper is likely to have splashed the cash to have the park to himself. 

The gang reportedly enjoyed private rides on the rollercoasters and he footed the bill to have his favourite foods and drinks on site too.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: ‘Stormzy’s shutdown of Thorpe Park was incredible and no expense was spared.

‘Food was put on by McDonald’s and WingShack, who set up stalls at the edge of the park. There was also a huge party area covered in balloons and bunting where there was a free bar.’

A photo booth had reportedly been set up with signs all-around with the text, ‘Happy Birthday Big Mike’.

‘Stormzy is a massive Thorpe Park fan and he had an enormous cake made which resembled some of the theme park’s biggest and best rides, the source continued.

And the fun didn’t stop after the theme park closed as the Blinded By Your Grace singer reportedly continued his celebrations into the early hours of the morning with a poker game, which is said to have gone on well into the early hours of the following morning.

One friend shared a clip on Instagram of Stormzy making a speech after blowing out the candles on his cake.

He told his pals: ‘I have a lot of love in my heart, I love every ­single person in this room, I love all you guys.’

Stormzy is estimated to have a net worth of £24million, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. 

The rapper has 31 awards, two UK number one albums, a book publishing imprint and a University of Cambridge scholarship programme to his name.
