Strictlys Kym Marsh shares touching tribute to soulmate on first wedding anniversary

Former Coronation Street Kym Marsh has shared a touching tribute to her "soulmate" husband as the pair celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

The actress and singer, 46, who is competing in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, took to Instagram to share a romantic post celebrating one year of marriage.

Sharing a sweet snap of their wedding day, she wrote: "1 year ago today I was lucky enough to marry my best friend. This man is everything to me.

"He is my everything, my rock, my friend, my soulmate. Scott I am so very lucky to be your wife and I thank my lucky stars everyday that you came into my life."

The former Hear'Say member continued: "Of course I have to also give huge thanks to @antonycotton for playing cilla black and introducing us!

"Don’t know how I will ever repay you this one darling hahah!

"So all that’s left to say is Happy Anniversary my wonderful, amazing, sexy af husband!

"I love you with all of my heart! Always and forever" which she followed with a black heart emoji.

Both friends and fans commented their congratulations on Kym's post, with fellow Strictly star Fleur East writing: "Love you two! Happy anniversary to you both!" followed by four love hearts.

Kym's Strictly partner Graziano Di Prima posted four heart-eye emojis in response to the sweet post.

And another commenter, wrote: "Happy 1st anniversary and well done so far in strictly I bet your hubby is so proud."

Opening up OK! and other press about joining the popular BBC show, Kym, who has two grandchildren, joked: "It's about time a grandma won!"

Discussing her family, Kym, has children Emily, 25, David, 27, and Polly, 11, from previous relationships, said: "My kids are really supportive and loving it all.

"My little grandson is three and he just loves dancing, he won't fully understand what I'm doing but he'll be delighted that I'm dancing. I'm going to try and get him down to some of the rehearsals."

The 46 year old has also opened up about how her father, who was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer last summer, inspired her to sign up for the show.

She explained: "My dad has been telling me for years, you never know what’s around the corner. you just grab it while you can.

"My dad was diagnosed with cancer and now I’m just trying to do everything I can while he’s here, so he can join in and everything."
