Tom Hiddlestons fiancée Zawe Ashtons huge engagement ring seen as pair go on walk
Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton were spotted on a walk together following rumours of an engagement.
The couple, who met while starring in the 2019 play Betrayal, sparked engagement rumours when Zawe appeared at the BAFTAs displaying a massive rock on her ring finger last month.
Although neither of the pair have officially confirmed an engagement, they were seen heading on a walk together with the actress still wearing the striking ring.
Tom, 41, and Zawe, 37, linked arms as they went for a stroll, both wrapping up warm in coats, with Tom wearing a sports cap and Zawe completing her outfit with a fluffy grey beanie.
Zawe clutched her phone in her left hand, on which you could see her eye-catching ring.
Fresh Meat actress Zawe was first spotted with the ring during an appearance at the BAFTAs last month.
Although the star appeared to conceal her ring in official photos from the star-studded red carpet at the event, in a photo posted by host AJ Odudu at London's Grosvenor Hotel, it was clearly visible.
In the sweet snap, AJ could be seen taking centre stage in a blue sparkling dress with a matching choker necklace, while Tom donned a tuxedo on one side, as Zawe stood in a pink dress on the other.
The couple first met while starring in the 2019 play Betrayal, where they played a husband and wife, and have kept their romance private since.
At the time, a source told The Sun that Tom wanted to keep their relationship out of the spotlight after his highly-publicised romance with Taylor Swift.
"Tom really has fallen for Zawe in a big way," a source told the publication. "They’ve actually been together for more than six months.
"But he is so paranoid about his private life since his relationship with Taylor that he has gone to great lengths to keep this under wraps."
The following year, it was reported that the pair had moved in together as another insider told the same publication: "Tom and Zawe have stayed quiet about their relationship but she has spent the last few weeks with him in the US.
"They are very well suited and enjoy the quieter side of life away from the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world.
"Their lives are typically very busy, so spending time together while not working has been something they have both embraced. Tom has made a home in Atlanta during lockdown and he is expecting to spend the rest of the year there."
Since then, they've been seen hitting the beach in Ibiza and made their red carpet debut at the Tony Awards in New York City.
