News of Tina Turner’s death on Wednesday led to an outpouring of grief and tributes from her adoring fans and grieving friends.

The legendary hitmaker died earlier in the day at her home in Switzerland, her publicist revealed, though a cause of death was not initially revealed.

On social media, the Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson joined the chorus of stars and fans paying tribute to the What’s Love Got To Do With It singer.

‘My darling friend @tinaturner has died. OMG, I’m beside myself,’ Ferguson wrote while sharing a photo of Turner rocking out on stage in a blue tasseled dress. 

‘The times we shared over decades, her impact on the music industry, love of family&friends, insatiable humour, love of life. Damn, I miss you already. That’s all I can say now.’

Mia Farrow shared two black-and-white photos of Tina, one calming image in which the singer closed her eyes, along with an older photo in which her piercing gaze looked directly into the camera. 

‘The magnificent Tina Turner has left us,’ she wrote, adding a broken heart emoji. 

Piers Morgan honored the songstress while sharing a photo of her looking jubilant and effortlessly youthful in a glittering red mini dress.
