COMME DES GARÇONS GIRL's Nike Blazer Low Sneakers Are Hand-Air-Brushed

With plenty of forthcoming Nike collaborations (including another Blazer), COMME DES GARÇONS appears keen to keep its partnership with the sportswear giant fresh. The latest joint effort from the duo is a special COMME DES GARÇONS GIRL-exclusive, delivering a series of unique Nike Blazer Low shoes in womens’ sizes.

Unlike the CDG SHIRT BOYS off-shoot (itself a divergence of COMME DES GARÇONS SHIRT), COMME DES GARÇONS GIRL is a fully-realized collection that offers an accessible take on the vaunted Japanese brand’s signature pieces each season. Only somewhat less adventurous than mainline and Tricot, GIRL’s ready-to-wear is often accompanied by a bevy of complementary accessories and footwear.

However, this is the sub-label’s first notable Nike partnership and no detail has been overlooked. Each pair of summer-ready sneakers has been air-brushed by hand, yielding completely unique shoes. From the textured sole units to the transformed tongue tag, each shoe is different. The pink laces are untouched, however, breaking up the salmon tones with rich saturation.

The air-brushed Nike Blazer Low sneakers are available for £245 GBP (approximately $320 USD) on Dover Street Market’s web store.

Most recently, Nike’s Blazer received a Coney Island-inspired “Grey Fog” makeover while COMME DES GARÇONS SHIRT dropped its Futura collaboration.
