I got uninvited from my friend’s wedding because of how I looked in my dress

WEDDING stress isn’t always limited to the bride.

The bride’s friends are often brought into the drama and must walk through hoops to make sure the star of the show feels comfortable on her big day.

Unfortunately, some friends must deal with a bridezilla whose requests and sensitivities seem borderline absurd.

One woman on TikTok recounted a bizarre experience she had leading up to her friend’s wedding.

“My close friend uninvited me to her wedding because she thought I looked too good in the dress SHE chose for me,” the woman said.

Typically, when someone picks out a dress for you or at least gives it the ok, you think you’re in the clear.

Clearly, that wasn’t the case for this woman.

Still, she said she made the best of it: “Took some fire pics in it though…”

The photos revealed the woman dazzling in a low-cut, high-slit, sequined blue and tan dress.

The embellishments may seem like a lot, but she thought that was what the bride wanted—because, well, the bride chose it.

This isn’t the first time a bride has been taken aback by one of her guest’s looks.

Back in October, another bride-to-be turned to Reddit to explain the dilemma she was facing with one of her bridesmaids.

She said that she and her fiancé were organizing an intimate wedding with only 30 or so people.

She was soon shocked to learn that her bridesmaid Carla, who had gotten married six months prior, was planning to wear her own wedding reception dress to this wedding.

The frustrated bride-to-be explained: "[Carla’s dress] is quite glamorous and bridal too. I have picked a very simple wedding dress for myself — it's expensive and I look great in it, but it doesn't have all that glitz!

“I understand that Carla too had a COVID wedding and not a lot of people got to see her dresses but still!”

She looked to the Reddit community for advice, saying she does not want to be confrontational, and asked if she was being a bridezilla.

Though the consensus was that she was not being a bridezilla, most commenters told her that the problem would only be solved if she spoke with the friend directly.

It wouldn’t be a wedding without some drama.
