I’m a mum & found a clever way to serve dinner for my kids without ever having to wash up – people say I’m a genius | The Sun

A SAVVY mum has revealed the clever hack she uses to make her evenings way easier.

Hadlee Daines, from the US, shared her clever mum hack on TikTok and it soon went viral on the video-sharing app.

Like most parents – Hadlee was fed up with washing up lots of plates after dinner, but also didn't want to spent loads on paper plates.

That's when the mum came up with the genius idea to use food baskets lined with parchment paper.

She penned: "Best mom hack… less dishes and cheaper than paper plates."

In the short clip posted to her account @hadleebreedaines, she showed the plastic food baskets she uses to serve her kids' food.

She lines the baskets with the paper so that after they've eaten she can easily chuck it in the bin without the basket getting dirty.

Not only do they make her job as mum easier – but her kids also love it as they feel like they're eating in a restaurant.

"Parchment paper is WAY cheaper than paper plates and my kids love it because they feel like they’re eating at a restaurant," she captioned the post.

The video has since gone viral with over 12.9million views and over 1.5million likes in just 48 hours.
