A NURSERY assistant has revealed that parents often say the same annoying things to her.
Sarah Ann Fraser took to TikTok to open up about the rude comments that parents have made to her when dropping off and collecting their children.
She posted her video with the caption ‘The things people would say to me that would annoy me the most…’
She said: “Things nursery workers love to hear…NOT!!”
The young woman, who works in early years as a nursery practitioner, explained that parents assume their job is easy.
She claimed that parents will often say to her: “You must have the easiest day ever.”

Not only this, but she noted that many parents assume that nursery workers have a very chilled day, as she claimed that parents have said: “You just spend your day playing and colouring.”
Another very rude remark that parents have said to Sarah is: “No way are you actually trusted with kids.”
Meanwhile, she claimed that other parents have said: “It can’t be that stressful.”
While Sarah works very hard looking after people’s children, she claimed that many parents have had the cheek to make a rude remark about her job.

She noted that parents have said to her: “It’s not a proper job though is it.”
Finally, Sarah explained that parents will assume that all nursery workers do is play all day.
She noted that parents will say to her: “How can you be tired, all you do is play all day.”
Sarah’s clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 96.7k views.
It has 6,028 likes, 252 comments and 931 shares.
Many other nursery workers could relate to Sarah and the comments she has received and lots of people took to the comments to express this.
One person said: “I agree! I work in a nursery. Childcare is so tiring. I’m always shattered after a day at work.”
Another added: “It angers me sooooo much when people say these things!! The amount of paperwork etc, and the challenging children, it’s never an easy shift.”
