A WOMAN who described herself as ‘chunky’ claimed that because of her size, people always say the same rude things to her. 

21-year-old Grace Hegley took to TikTok to open up about the comments that she gets about her appearance.


She shared her video with the caption ‘If I had a pound for every time I've heard these things’ and explained that old women, skinny girls and boys will always same the same rude things about her looks. 

She said: “POV: You’re a little chunky.”

In the clip, we saw Grace wearing a small black crop top and a pair of high-waisted green tracksuit bottoms.

She pulled her trousers down slightly to show off her tummy, as she gave it a little rub before revealing the comments she receives on a regular basis.

She explained that old women will often assume that she wants to lose weight and say to her: “Just cut out the carbs love.”

Not only this, but she claimed that young boys also assume that she isn’t happy with her size.

She claimed that young men will say to her: “I’ll be your personal trainer.”

When it comes to skinny women, she claimed that they will often point out her confidence.

She noted that they say: “I love your confidence.”

As well as this, she claimed that slim women will also say to her: “I wish I could put on weight like you.” 

Finally, when it comes to men, Grace explained that they don’t typically make comments, but instead will stare as they drive past her.

She shared a stock picture of a man driving in a van as she claimed that they will “stare and do a creepy smile while driving past.” 

Grace’s video has clearly impressed many, as it quickly went viral and racked up a whopping 7.6 million views.

It has 1.5million likes, 7,321 comments and 9,952 shares.

Many social media users could relate to Grace and took to the comments to express this. 

One person said: “They’re always backhanded compliments.”

Another added: “Had way too many of these said to me.”

A third commented: “I relate so hard.”

Meanwhile, many others revealed the comments that they often hear as a result of their size.

One woman noted: “You forgot the “it’s just puppy fat it’ll fall off” one.”
