Meghan Markle ditches ‘vulgar’ dark nail polish in favour of the Queen’s favourite nude pink

WHEN Meghan Markle introduced her beautiful baby son to the world last week, all eyes were on little Archie Harrison.

But look a little more closely at the gorgeous images and you might notice the Duchess of Sussex has been taking some styling tips from the Queen.

With the new mum being an official member of the royal family for almost a year now, it seems she's getting used to some of the Firm's age-old traditions.

For example, the Queen's opinions on nail varnish.

According to reports, coloured nail varnish and fake nails are not part of royal etiquette, and are typically considered to be “vulgar”.

If Meghan – or Kate – are to wear polish, it's reported it should be similar to the Queen’s personal favourite – Essie's Nail Lacquer in Ballet Slippers.

However, when Meghan made a surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards in December last year, she was pictured wearing a dark shade.

Fast forward six months, and the 37-year-old has embraced the dusky pink varnish, instead.

Posting an adorable snap over the weekend of baby Archie's toes, Meghan could be seen wearing the versatile polish.
