Meghan Markle news – Desperate Prince Harry HOMESICK as Duchess demands 'perfect life', royal expert claims | The Sun

PRINCE Harry looks "homesick" despite Meghan Markle's attempts to create the "perfect LA life", a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess recently joined William, Kate and other royals for their FIRST official event since Megxit on day two of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

But one expert believes the prince is "homesick", despite the couple building a "perfect LA life" after quitting Britain and the Royal Family.

Royal author Duncan Larcombe told Closer:: "He seems homesick to me. Harry’s suddenly playing polo again and drinking with his new friends – all things he used to enjoy doing in the UK.

"Meghan is cheering him on on the sidelines, helping create this perfect LA life for him to justify what he’s given up in the UK. But something doesn’t seem to sit right. Harry looks unhappy."

Mr Larcombe added: "He is living out there in self-imposed exile and Harry is a very sociable person. In his formative years he had lots of friends – including his estranged brother William – and was always spending time with them.

"He must sometimes wonder if everything he has given up has been worth it."

Harry and Meghan at odds over birthday return

William and Kate are set to celebrate a joint 40th birthday party in the coming weeks, and Harry is eager to attend the party, sources claim.

Meghan is less keen, however, and that is seemingly causes friction between the couple.

Speaking on a latest episode on his YouTube channel, royal expert Neil Sean claimed: claimed: “It does appear that there’s a bit of, shall we say friction, between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to a very good source, and as ever we say allegedly because he would be keen to return for his brother’s 40th birthday.

“He, of course, knows about royal duty and how things would look if he doesn’t return, it’s as simple as that.”

He added: “[But] according to the good source, Meghan Markle is not keen at all, to go back into a room, you know some may say a hornet’s nest which she did her own stirring, to spend an evening, afternoon, day whatever, that might be celebrating someone that clearly has got issues with her, and likewise, visa versa.”

‘I think that Diana’s influence has lasted longer than anybody thought’

PRINCE HARRY never makes a decision without first thinking what is mother would have wanted, Andrew Morton has said.

The expert described Harry and William as the “torchbearers” for Diana’s memory, and highlighted how the late Princess changed the royals forever.

Morton told the Mirror: “I think that Diana’s influence has lasted longer than anybody thought because her torchbearers in life, William and Harry, have not forgotten her and have held concerts in her memory.

“Harry himself says that he never makes a decision without referring it to her in a spiritual sense.

“She marked a turning point in the way the Royal Family behaved and through her behaviour helped to modernise and make more human the Royal Family.

“So it wasn’t big handbags, white gloves and standoffish. It was more touchy-feely than it had ever been in the past. So she made the Royal Family more relevant to modern times.”

Meghan and Harry’s popularity is dropping in the US

The UK public remain split on the Sussexes.

While the US appear to have been behind the couple, the winds have allegedly begun to change.

Royal family enthusiast, Nile Gardiner, spoke to The Sun saying that Meghan’s popularity is at an all-time low.

He said: “The image of Meghan is plummeting in the US as it is in the UK.

“The Queen is hugely admired in the US, as is Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.

“Meghan’s image is significantly falling in the US”

One of the key points of confusion for the US public is why she still has her Royal title: “Many Americans are bewildered as to why she is still the Duchess of Sussex when she speaks out so much against the monarchy.

The Queen still adores Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Meghan spend most of their time in the US.

In 2020, Meghan and Harry made the controversial decision to step back from the Royal Family, and moved to California.

They then did an interview with Oprah Winfrey in the hopes to clear up some things, but many considered it a tell-all and resulted in a split with some family members, including Prince Charles, Kate Middleton and Prince William that is yet to be resolved.

According to a friend though, the Queen still has a soft spot for Harry: “If Harry asks, the Queen would say yes.”

‘It is not impossible that Ms Giuffre will find herself on the chat-show sofa’

Amber Melville-Brown, a reputation and media lawyer with Withersworldwide, said that “it is not impossible that Ms Giuffre will find herself on the chat-show sofa.”

She said Oprah’s couch has “played host to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they sat down very publicly to spill some private royal family beans in cozy tête-à-tête with the chat show queens and their millions of viewers.

“Ironic if the next indentation in the sofa is made by Ms Giuffre, who is standing up for herself and others as the settlement statement says, has made such a lasting indentation in the reputation of Harry’s uncle Andrew.”

Prince Harry & Meghan left UK ‘HUMILIATED’ after couple BANNED from filming Netflix doc

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle left the UK “humiliated” after the Queen REFUSED to let them film footage of her meeting with Lilibet.

The Duke and Duchess‘ time with the monarch — who got to see the couple’s daughter Lilibet, one, for the first time — was kept “formal” by Buckingham Palace aides.

But it has been alleged the Queen refused a request to shoot footage of her with the couple’s baby daughter, Lilibet.

The Sussexes reportedly asked for her permission to take photos, which they would then use for productions as part of their deal with Netflix.

As per the Express, a source reportedly told the National Enquirer: “They were totally humiliated.

“The worst blow was Her Majesty saying ‘no chance’ to photos of her first-ever meeting with her namesake, Lilibet.

“Those shots would have been perfect for the show they’re filming as part of their $100 million Netflix deal. Netflix bosses must be very unhappy!

“[They] got the comeuppance they so richly deserve for the hurt they’ve caused the family!”

Everything YOU need to know about Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir

The reports surrounding Harry’s upcoming book have been contrasting and often contradictory, but what will be in the book? And when will it release.

Some have said the book will see Harry attack Charles and Camilla, while others have claimed the book will avoid taking aim at the royal family.

Prince Harry had this to say: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learnt — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

The book has been “tentatively scheduled for late 2022”, but reports recently emerged that the piece may have been delayed.

Overall, the book will take a personal and intimate look at Harry’s life, and the many controversies that have accompanied it.
