Scorned singletons share their cringe-worthy tales of rejection in hilarious Twitter thread – The Sun

SINGLETONS have shared their very embarrassing tales of rejection in a hilarious new Twitter thread that is enough to put you off dating for life.

Comedian Eden Dranger, from Los Angeles, took to Twitter to share her own disastrous dating tale, before encouraging others to come forward.

She wrote: “What was your harshest rejection?

“I’ll go first. One time, a super charming guy I had a crush on took me out to dinner a few times, invited me to a swanky gala, had me over for Thanksgiving, and then introduced me to his buddy as ‘a girl I wish was my sister’.”

Her tweet quickly went viral racking up over 11,000 likes as hundreds of her followers came forward with their own rocky romances.

One responded: “One time a guy broke up with me because I didn’t understand his “secret band.” He also played the guitar with his feet.”

A cruel blow came to this woman who tweeted:  “A guy I was seriously dating called me on my 30th Birthday, while I was at the office working, broke up with me, 20 minutes before I walked into a surprise party, that he knew I was walking into.”

“Gotta be when a guy I loved ignored my calls while I was puking up blood in the emergency room” said a third.

But it isn’t just the ladies who are dealt a cruel hand, with many men also sharing their harsh rejections.

One responded: “Had someone get drunk and call me to break it off while she was on her way to a date with a different guy and then kept me on the phone until he showed up. That one hurt.”

Still sore, another added: “I asked a girl out once and she laughed for 3 minutes.  At least.  After 3 minutes I left.  It happened in 1977.  For all I know, she's still laughing.”

“My fiance bought a house without telling me. So, I took that as a subtle hint” said a now happily married man.

And harping back to a school crush another wrote: “I was once playing scattegories with a girl I had a crush on in school.

“The letter was “K” and the prompt was “something that’s gross” my crush answered “Kyle” and then got more points than me.”

In other relationship news, this man proposed to his girlfriend with a "will you marry me?" chest tattoo – and her "yes" answer is inked on too.

And this sexpert claims ALL men "suck at sex" in rant about the things she wishes they would do in bed.
