We tried the hot food at Costco after everyone raved about it – we weren’t prepared for the prices to start with | The Sun
IF you’ve ever been to Costco, you’ll already know that their food hall is out of this world.
The wholesalers, which sells popular food items in bulk for competitive prices, also boasts its own American cafeteria style eatery.
In it, they sell a selection of tasty lunch dishes from £1.95 large slices of pizza to £2.49 jacket potatoes loaded with your favourite topping.
What’s more, the menu also includes a crispy fried chicken burger (£3.95), hot dog (£1.50), chicken bake (£3.25), cottage pie (£2.95) and supersized soft drinks and sodas.
After hearing Costco food’s rave reviews, a foodie decided to try it out for herself.
And social media user Hollie Stubbings, who can be found on TikTok at @holliestubbings, couldn’t believe everything she had to choose from.

So instead of sampling just one of the dishes, Hollie and her friend tucked into several, before they gave their honest review.
Hollie recorded herself in Costco as she queued up for her snack.
In the video, she told her 138.9k TikTok followers: “Everyone’s been raving about the hot food counter, so, of course, we’ve got to try some.”
She then filmed what she’d chosen to eat, as she lifted the lid on the flavour and price.

Hollie continued: “So we have a chicken burger, two lots of pizza and a hot dog.”
Pointing at the large hot dog and accompanying drink, she added that she was still in shock at the ridiculously low prices.
She said: “I can’t get over that this was £1.50, including this [soft drink] as well.
“What the hell?!”
She added about the pizza: “This is absolutely massive, I can barely pick it up.”
And she said she’d proudly jumped on the bandwagon when she gave her verdict in the caption.
She wrote alongside the post later on: “Honestly, it was all really good and so affordable.”
Hollie’s followers were equally as impressed by the delicious looking selection.
One of her TikTok followers wrote: “The pizza looks so good.”
