Wedding shamers slam bride’s Beauty and the Beast dress for looking like a ‘five-year-old’s fancy dress costume’ – The Sun

A DISNEY obsessed bride-to-be has been slammed by cruel wedding shamers after sharing her Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding dress online.

The bride – who took to Facebook to show off the gown – has chosen to wear a Belle-inspired yellow tulle dress for her big day, but not everyone is a fan.

Posted on the That's It, I'm Wedding Shaming Facebook group, a screengrab of the bride's dress – which she explained had been made by her mate's mum – has been shared online.

"Okay, I love Beauty and the Beast," the wedding shamer wrote.

"But I saw this and saw that she only has 13 days until the wedding and this dress DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY.

"Everyone in the comments is saying they love it and think it's gorgeous etc.

"No one has mentioned how wrinkled and ill-fitting it is.

"I'm hoping her friend's mum still has some alterations to do and this isn't the finished product."

And other users on the group were horrified with the gown, with one commenting: "Disney is not a personality.

"It's OK to take inspiration but please don't let your inner five-year-old take over your wedding."

While another said the bride looked like she was "covered in paper napkins" and one said it looked "tacky AF".

One cruel shamer added: "It looks like she went to the Halloween shop and grabbed the 'deluxe' costume."

Others took a strong issue with the tailoring of the gown, with one commenting: "That zipper is a disaster. Installing invisible zippers is not hard.

"Learn how to do it properly so you don't end up with something like this."

While another wrote: "She has 13 days to get it altered, can someone tell her? I hate the Disney theme but I wouldn't necessarily hate the dress if it just fit."

One person even said it was an "insult to Beauty and the Beast" while another said it was "weird" to dress as a fictional cartoon character.
