Woman turns drab garden into chic space with Amazon bargains and Dunelm egg chairs – and people say it looks BIGGER – The Sun

A WOMAN has shown off her incredible garden makeover, using a few clever bargain buys from Dunelm and eBay.

DIY fan Tara Ward shared before and after photos of her incredible garden makeover on Facebook – and people say the space looks 'bigger' now.

Posting on the Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It, she showed off the results of her hard work.

Tara, who also has an interior design Instagram page, wrote: "Before and after- tiny outdoor space."

Before the makeover, the space looked neglected. The grass looked severely dehydrated with brown and yellow patches of scrub.

Meanwhile, the fence was painted a boring shade of brown, while Tara had neglected to add in any furniture other than one solitary chair.

She stared by changing the fence from horizontal the vertical panels and giving it a lick of warm grey paint, adding an instant modern update to the space.

She topped the fence with DIY garden garlands, made with artificial flowers and leaves from the Range.

The egg chairs have been a hit with interior design fans this summer – and savvy bargain hunter Tara revealed she picked hers up in the Dunelm sale.

Another said: "It looks so much bigger. So lovely."

A third chimed in "Beautiful, please come to do mine lol."
