In her video, TikTok user Dr Shereene Idriss (@shereeneidriss) explained: "I’m a board-certified dermatologist and you do not need to spend a million dollars on an anti-aging skincare routine.

"[You can] get a really solid one for underneath $100," the 40-year-old said.

"You can skip it [in the morning] and wash your face with water at night," she told viewers.

The TikToker advised her followers to use the $9 Vanicream gentle cleanser.

For removing makeup, Shereene suggested pairing the prouct with an $11 micellar water from Bioderma.

Shereene revealed that she uses the products "at night a few times a week."

For her next tip, she advised her followers to invest in good serums, such as Vitamin C and retinol.

The skincare expert suggested using Vanicream's $19 Vitamin C serum, available at Target.

She also recommended beginning slow with your retinol routine, beginning with two nights a week.

For advanced retinol users, Shereene revealed: "You can use the retinol as an under-eye cream but buffer it first by using Vaseline underneath your eyes and then using a tiny bit of retinol on top."

Finally, the anti-aging expert explained that she swears by the $22 two-in-one moisturizer from La Roche Posay Toleraine.

"It doubles as a moisturizer and an SPF because it’s loaded with ceramides and you get SPF 30 protection," she told viewers.

Shereene concluded: "There you have it, a solid anti-aging skincare routine for less than $100."

TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the advice.

"Been skipping morning cleanser for years now thanks to you from YouTube," wrote one viewer.
