Andrea in danger as Toadie makes a shocking discovery in Neighbours

Andrea Somers (Madeleine West) might be about to meet her match – in the form of her own mother in Neighbours.

Andrea thinks she’s got her plan sussed in trying to spend time with Toadie Rebecchi to worm her way into his life, but her mum could be about to ruin everything.

Heather Schilling (Kerry Armstrong) previously had control of their plan, during that time she almost killed Sonya (Eve Morey) with poison, and now she wants control back again, and despite being on the run, arrives in town.

She gets herself in trouble when she’s almost spotted by the police but Andrea manages to save her and tells her to run. It looks like Heather has vanished, but she shocks Andrea by showing up at her apartment. She’s not going anywhere.

Andrea is horrified and hurriedly tries to hide her from Willow (Mieke Billing-Smith), but Heather wants to stay – she has nowhere to go and she’s on the run from the police.

But if they’re seen together everything will be over, so Andrea gives her a firm no. Her mum isn’t here to play games though, and Andrea’s hand is forced when Heather overhears Willow recounting awful things Andrea has told her about Heather, and she relents to let her stay. Could that decision ultimately be her undoing?

Andrea uses her emotions to manipulate Toadie, who pays to put her up in Lassiters and pulls some strings to enrol Willow at Erinsborough High to keep her near her mum, and Andrea is convinced her plan is coming along nicely. She’s got in Toadie’s head, she’ll have him eating out of the palm of her hand in no time.

But while that’s going on, Heather is back in the Geelong apartment and she’s not a happy bunny – things aren’t moving as quickly as she’d like. And as if her troublesome mother wasn’t enough to deal with, Andrea could have yet another problem on her hands when she rebuffs Ian’s demand of more rewards.

Unable to sit at home twiddling her fugitive thumbs, Andrea decides to have a snoop around the Lassiters complex, threatening to reveal the whole plan, while Andrea is being pestered by Ian.

When he shows up, angry at her refusal to meet his demands, she knows she’s in danger. He threatens to come clean to Toadie about everything and just as Andrea tries to save herself, Toadie appears – and he wants to know what the hell is going on. Has she finally been rumbled?

Scenes air from Monday 17th June at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
