Arg and Marnie Simpson sign up to Jabs Army festive Big Boost at SSE Arena, Wembley to get jabbed for Xmas

ARG and Marnie Simpson are among the stars who have signed up to the Jabs Army's festive Big Boost event to get Brits jabbed in time for Christmas.

The Sun and The National Lottery have teamed up with the NHS to give readers the chance to get vaccinated with a festive twist.

There are 2,000 appointments up for grabs at the Jabs Army event at SSE Arena Wembley in North London from 5pm to 10pm today.

It’s not just jabs on offer — there will be live music and special celeb appearances.

Arg, Marnie Simpson, Bobby Norris, Sharon Gafka, Jess and Eve Gale, Anthea Turner, and Joe Garratt have signed up to the festive extravaganza.

NHS England chief Amanda Pritchard said: “Turning a big bash into The Big Boost is the kind of adaptability and ingenuity that has made the NHS vaccine programme such a success.

"I’m so grateful to The Sun for putting on their event as part of the mission.

"Getting jabbed remains the best way to protect yourself and your family this Christmas."

"My sincere thanks to NHS staff and volunteers who have given so much to make this possible – your dedication is remarkable.

"National Lottery players can look forward to the rescheduled Big Thank You concert at Wembley Arena in April to acknowledge the £1bn-plus in Good Causes funding that they have now contributed to the UK's response to the pandemic."
