B&M releases Christmas range to rival John Lewis for HALF the price

B&M has sent shoppers into a frenzy after releasing a Christmas collection which looks almost identical to a John Lewis range – but for less than half the price.
The bargain retailer’s new collection includes pre-lit Christmas trees, faux fur stockings and Santa statues.
Shoppers could snap up the whole range for just over £212.49 with an almost identical selection available at John Lewis coming in at £476.50.
But would you be able to tell the difference between the two festive ranges?
Pre-lit 7ft Christmas Tree
B&M is selling its artificial Christmas tree for £160.
It comes equipped with 450 LED lights and is festooned with fake berries and pinecones to give the tree a ‘magical woodland look’.
John Lewis had previously released its own version of the snowy spruce for £299 which boasts a in 400 pure white lights as well as a ‘dense, realistic snow-covering’ to bring the outside in.

Faux fur stocking
B&M has released a selection of Christmas stockings that are described as ‘supersoft festive essentials’ this year.
Its most popular is the faux fur version, available in either grey or pink, for just £3.
John Lewis listed its £25 faux fur decoration as available in white, fawn or ombre mocha and described them as ‘perfect for that special gift’.

Santa Statue
B&M recently revealed its ‘Deco Shimmer Santa’ for £15.
The 45cm-high ornament, which comes snuggly wrapped in a skiing ensemble, can ‘add some sparkling light over the festive period’.
John Lewis’s ‘Renaissance’ Santa figurine comes in at £35 and is described as being ‘elaborately dressed in silver and gold velvet, with jewel detail on his brocade waistcoat’.

Christmas Wreath
B&M is offering a striking pre-lit door wreath adorned with artificial cones and berries for £20 to ‘welcome guests to your very own winter wonderland’.
John Lewis has its own £40 Champagne wreath.
It is ‘coloured in shades of gold and features berry sprigs and honesty leaves as well as real pine cones, in their natural shade, for attractive contrast’.

Snowflake Tree Topper
B&M’s acrylic snowflake decoration comes in at just £3.
It is described as the perfect ‘eye-catching, sparkling touch for your Christmas tree’.
John Lewis is instead offering a very similar beaded ‘impressionism-inspired’ tree topper for £20.

Snow Globe
B&M has released a Christmas woodland snow globe with an adorable robin in the centre for just £2.50.
The piece, which is also available with a fox instead, is said to ‘add a touch of rustic charm to your Christmas decor’.
John Lewis is offering a similarly festive themed room decoration at a higher price tag of £15.
