Hayden Panettiere and her family gather for Jansens memorial

Hayden Panettiere and her family gathered in Nyack, New York, to lay her late brother, Jansen Panettiere, to rest after his untimely death.

The “Scream VI” actress, as well as her parents, were seen arriving at Palisades Presbyterian Church Wednesday morning. In several photos, Hayden could be seen hugging guests as they made their way inside the church.

Hayden’s father, Alan “Skip” Panettiere, as well as her mother, Lesley Vogel, could also be seen receiving support from other guests, which included Jansen’s girlfriend, Catherine Michie.

Notably, the “Remember the Titans” star’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, also attended the celebration of life.

Jansen was found dead by his friends at his New York apartment last month. He was just 28.

Skip reportedly told police that he had talked to his son the night before and he sounded “OK.” But a source told “Entertainment Tonight” that the former child star struggled with mental health issues.

“Art was his therapy and escape,” the insider shared. “In the past, Jansen was open to family and friends about his struggles. Hayden was always there for him and constantly tried to help Jansen when she could.”

Jansen’s family later announced that he had passed away from “cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications,” though they were waiting for the official results from the coroner.

“Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit,” said Jansen’s family in a statement.

“His charisma, warmth, compassion for others, and his creative spirit will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all whom he encountered.”

In Hayden’s first TV interview since Jansen’s death, the “Raising Helen” actress teared up giving a heartfelt tribute.

“He’s right here with me,” she tearfully said on “Good Morning America” Monday after Michael Strahan offered his condolences at the end of their interview.
