I want mad affair with cheeky lad at work as husband and sex life is so boring

Dare I throw caution to the wind and start a mad affair with him? Will I be able to handle a work-based fling?

I’m bored with my marriage and my sex life. I’m not sure that I want a full split and divorce from my husband, but I definitely crave better sex and excitement.

My nan died last year wishing she’d had more fun and laughter in her life. My late grandad was a miserable old so-and-so who only allowed her to have one child (my mum) because he was so jealous and possessive. I’m not saying that my husband is that bad, but he works away so much I hardly see him.

I wonder if a no-strings-attached affair will give me my mojo back. Half of my friends (the single ones) are saying: “Go for it.” But my married ones are (predictably) telling me to grow up and see sense. I’m confused.

JANE SAYS: Do you honestly expect me to give you the green light to cheat?

Of course you can’t start an affair with your colleague. This is 2019 and these things are frowned upon. And you’re married. Your colleague is in a relationship and you have jobs to get on with.

The reality is that there is no such thing as a no-strings-attached affair because you are forming an emotional
attachment to the man and developing feelings.

That day he touched you, you simply couldn’t control yourself. Imagine how much more complicated matters would be after actual sex.

Having an affair with your colleague may seem like a fab idea, but what about your husband and the future? He may be away a lot, but wedding vows have to mean something. Do you really want to risk your home and general security for a questionable office fling?

The best thing you can do right now is cool it.

Stop flirting with your colleague and start talking to your husband about where things are going wrong.

If you can’t trust yourself around your colleague, then ask to be moved.

I’m sure that your workmates would be delighted not to have to witness your distracting nonsense on a daily basis any more.
