Emmerdale star Rebecca Sarker is best-known as on-screen doctor Manpreet Sharma, having first taken on the role back in 2018.
Manpreet has found herself at the centre of the ITV soap's explosive Christmas storylines, thanks to her sister Meena Jutla's (Paige Sandhu) murderous and scheming ways.
While actress Rebecca, 45, has became a staple to our screens thanks to her Emmerdale role, she's no stranger to soap stardom and has previously starred in Coronation Street as Nita Desai, and has featured in rival soaps EastEnders and Doctors over the years.
The star's life away from the cameras is worlds away from her Manpreet's drama-filled life in the Emmerdale village.

Rebecca can be found on Instagram, where she regularly shares snaps with her 11,100 followers from her work and home life.
While she frequently posts photos from behind the scenes at Emmerdale, Rebecca also shares shots of her family and life away from the cameras.
The actress, who hails from West Yorkshire, lives in a gorgeous home which can occasionally be seen on her social media.
One snap, taken before Rebecca heads out on a bike ride, shows off the exterior of her home, which features a stylish black front door with a large decorative display hung on the front.
Rebecca is a fitness fanatic and regularly be found cycling or in the gym, and she has even completed some of her very own stunts on the ITV soap.
The actress is also a keen baker according to her Instagram profile, where she proudly shows off her culinary skills.
One of her most recent bakes was a lavish chocolate cake, which she displayed in the kitchen at her home on a wire cooling rack.
The star wrote: "Eat first, clear up later #lookattheglazeonthat", as her wooden worktop could be seen littered in an array of colourful dishes and mixing bowls.
While Rebecca's relationship status is unknown, she does occasionally share sweet images of her and her youngest son.
One photo, taken during the lockdown in 2020, shows the actress' stunning living room at her family home, which gives a rustic feel with large wooden beams and cream walls.
Rebecca and her son can be seen reading a book together as they sit on a large grey sofa, which has been paired with beige patterned scatter cushions.
A second photo shows the star homeschooling her son as they sit at a desk together in another room downstairs. The room features white walls and black windows, as well as stylish striped blinds with stunning framed artwork hung on the walls.

Rebecca previously opened up to OK! about her family life, saying: "My youngest son is 10, and loves the fact that his older brother, now 15, is never mentioned in the press.
"And my eldest son always wants me to set the record straight and remind everyone I’ve got two boys [laughs]. I say, “Yes, darling. I will big you up at every opportunity.” He’s a black belt in karate, plays the guitar, and is very handsome."
